ello, and a warm welcome to the Bogs of Somerset Hash House Harriers' (Bogs H3) web site. Our inaugural run was held on Wednesday, 6th December 2006, from the Strode Leisure Centre, Strode Road, Clevedon. Hare (and founder) was Joe "Deep Throat" Norman, formerly of Geneva Hash. Present, as well as DT, were Miss Jones (Bristol Greyhound Hash), Tavelogue (Town and Country Harriers), Oliver Twist (Mendip Hash) and Bloody Shiggy (Middle Yeo Surf Lifesavers). The last two received their Hash names on the run. A year later and still going strong, the club combined its fiftieth run and annual general piss up meeting on 28th November 2007. Runs are usually about four miles long (although keener "hashers" can go further) and take place from carefully-selected pubs in north-west Somerset. Fitness is NOT a pre-requisite and sociability and friendship takes priority over competitiveness. See the Run List for future venues.
