Lundy Island
Hash House Harriers

Due to a limited number of sailings and unfavourable tide times, there will be no Lundy Island weekend in 2011. On-on to 2012!

LUNDY ISLAND HASH HOUSE HARRIERS was formed in 1987 by Paul "Fat Controller" Mountford and Mark "Tablewhine" Young of the Bristol, England, chapter of this international running club.

Runs take place once a year, in Summer, on the picturesque wildlife paradise of Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel, SW England (see map).

The 23rd Lundy weekend was held on the weekend of the 28th to 30th of August, 2010, and included:

  • limited edition collector's T-shirt
  • O' I'M LARDY HASH (Oscar, Iron Maiden and Lightning's Annual Run Debacle. Why?) - Friday evening pub crawl run
  • camping in Bideford on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night (with new, modern shower facilities!)
  • ferry crossings to Lundy on luxury cruise ship (bar on board)
  • hash on Lundy Island
  • picnic in spectacular surroundings (bring your own, or buy pub grub on the island, subject to availability)
  • Sunday night disco
  • Sunday night cooked meal
  • Sunday and Monday breakfasts
  • Sunday morning run with the North East Rural Devon H3
All this from only £60.00 per person.

Listen to Dan Russell's song, Lundy Island.
